Job Description
Omnipolis Customer response executives are the first people contacted when emergency assistance is needed. They respond to emergency calls and pass the information to respective stakeholders like Police, Fire & Ambulance to resolve the situation.
CRE receives emergencies through a Web application platform or calls by telephone. They question callers to obtain the information needed to determine an appropriate course of action. They must create and maintain logs of all calls received and prepare reports as necessary. Experienced CRE might assist in training the new team.
Required Skills :
• Ability to operate various computer and communication platform, usually are learned through the training period.
• Personal characteristics that might be advantageous for Omnipolis CRE include good judgment skills since they need to prioritize the calls they receive by order of importance, as well as good communication skills since they must relay information between parties.
• Must have good speaking skills and be comfortable talking to people in various emotional states.
• Should be comfortable reading maps and be familiar with their assigned territories so they can help Users manage emergency situations while they're waiting for help to arrive.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Confidentiality and professional demeanor.
• Efficient keyboarding skills, Punctual, and reliable.
• Approachable and outgoing positive attitude. Ability to receive constructive feedback.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Confidently works well under pressure, Works well in a team environment.
• Effective oral and written communications.
• Comfort using technology with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and a variety of web browsers.
• Previous dispatch or accounting experience is an asset and may be considered over other applicants.
Experience: 1 – 2 yrs in Fire Response Team or Emergency Team
