The death of two workers in a fire accident at Aurobindo pharmaceuticals, Srikakulam dist and another incident that has killed two workers and three workers sustained burn injuries in a boiler explosion at Balaji chemical Industries, Vizianagaram Dist are tragic incidents that specifies the strong need for increasing safety performance in the workplace.

Today, most industries view the importance of health and safety compliance and ensure it as an important component but without deep commitment by the company to enforce the safety norms and regulations as per the safety policy, a safety culture will not be established.
